FOR CONTROL OF: Controls all types of flies that live in garbage, manure, or compost piles ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Fly parasites are tiny wasps which attack several species of filth breeding flies commonly associated with livestock and garbage.
Fly parasites attack immature fly pupue, killing them while they are immoble and helpless. Flies have very simple life cycle with a
fast maturity rate. the adult female lays eggs which almost immediately hatch into larvae (maggots). After three or four days,
these evolve into pupal shell, and this is where the fly parasites do their feeding. Fly parasites live entirely within the manure, never becoming pests themselves. One must look closely in order to see them at all, and most of their activity occurs at night.
Release Rates: Aproximately 1,000 fly parasites per 100 sq. ft.
Spaiangia endius attacks fly pupae and lays a single egg in each host. It also feeds on a number of pupae, killing them without
depositing an egg. Noted for its aggressive hunting ability, Se searches deep within fly breeding habitat to locate its hosts.
It is capable of withstanding extremely hot and dry periods better then the Mz
